The equipment and technology options that our therapists can recommend range from very simple, low-tech and low cost items through to very high tech and expensive solutions. Sometimes off-the-shelf items are a solution while other times bespoke items need to be made specifically for the individual.
Housing OT Services - we offer expert, holistic and independent OT assessments of an individual and their home environment. All important daily tasks are reviewed, from making breakfast, washing, toileting and dressing all the way through to getting back into bed at the end of the day.
We ensure that we complete a detailed review of environmental factors such as: access, stairs, bathroom safety, meal-preparation and general circulation around the home. All assessments are followed by reports with clear, detailed recommendations and guidance, along with potential costings and proposed plans as appropriate.
