About Sarah
Sarah Qualified as an Occupational Therapist in New Zealand in 2000. Post qualifying, Sarah has worked in health settings in New Zealand and across both health and social care in the UK. Sarah has been working within the UK private sector since 2010.
Sarah is an experienced and competent practitioner, working with clients of all ages. She has excellent knowledge of specialist equipment and aids, including complex moving and handling equipment and specialist seating. She is also very experienced in recommending and supporting with home adaptations to enable her clients to live as independently and comfortably as possible to facilitate their participation in family life and daily activities.
Sarah works with clients with wide ranging conditions and injuries. She works collaboratively with her clients, their family members, care givers, case managers, architects and other members of the MDT in order to achieve optimum outcomes.
She is a Key Trainer in moving and handling and is proactive at continuing with her professional development.
