About Lauren

Since qualifying as an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist in 2008, Lauren has gained valuable experience within both the statutory and private health sectors. She has worked in acute care, rehabilitation and community based services.

Lauren conducts thorough assessments of individuals within their home and community environments, facilitating the provision of specialist equipment, implementing both minor and major home adaptations and providing bespoke rehabilitation interventions to enhance her clients’ independence and participation. Lauren has a passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals, particularly adults and facing complex health challenges.

In 2022, Lauren moved into private practice, which has further honed her skills assessing and supporting the unique and holistic needs of clients and their families following injury. Collaboration is at the heart of her practice. Lauren works closey and collaboratively with a range of health care professionals, social care teams and care home staff to ensure effective communicaton and comprehensive care for her clients.

Lauren provides comprehensive initial assessments and detailed reports and recommendations for case managers, solicitors and insurance companies. She focuses on each client’s individual goals and supports them to achieve these through evidence based interventions.
