About Kyla

Kyla is an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in both community and inpatient neurological rehabilitation settings, spanning private practice and the NHS. She supports individuals with cognitive, behavioural and physical impairments to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Kyla conducts comprehensive assessments and develops tailored rehabilitation plans, with a particular focus on upper limb rehabilitation and cognitive rehabilitation. Driven by a deep passion for client-centred care, Kyla is committed to tailoring every intervention to the individual, empowering her clients and supporting them to achieve their goals, increase their participation and maximise their quality of life.

Kyla is utilising the skills and knowledge she gained working with adults with complex needs to support younger clients, working with children and young people both at home and in their education settings. She is committed to helping younger people obtain the skills they need to become as independent as possible in preparation for adulthood.

In addition to therapy interventions, Kyla also provides specialist moving and handling assessments, managing associated risks and prescribing suitable equipment and techniques. She also assesses for and prescribes assistive technology and specialist seating and wheelchairs.
