About Kate

Kate qualified as an occupational therapist in 2001 and has since gained a wide range of clinical experience in the fields of physical disability; learning disability; housing adaptations; equipment provision and wheelchair services.

Kate has worked in the independent sector since 2009 undertaking assessments for private individuals, case managers, solicitors, as well as various charities and benevolent funds.

Kate is a highly efficient and motivated OT with extensive experience of disability aid prescription and housing adaptations and has a special interest in specialist seating and postural management. She works with clients who have complex orthopaedic injuries, amputations, upper limb injuries, physical disabilities; long term health conditions and learning disabilities.

As well as demonstrating effective interpersonal skills, Kate produces specialist, detailed clinical assessment reports with robust recommendations; along with her clinical reasoning; to meet each individual client’s assessed needs.
