About Diana

Diana is an adaptable and dynamic HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist with excellent problem-solving skills and a friendly approach. She is Portuguese and understands Spanish well.

She is experienced in complex case work in relation to rehabilitation for clients with neurological conditions and is also experienced in major and minor housing adaptations, specialist equipment, provision and moving and handling assessments.

Diana focuses on maximising each of her client’s independence and participation in meaningful activities, such as personal care, domestic tasks, leisure activates, return to work and community access, such as shopping, managing money and travel training. She values partnership work with the client, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team as needed, in a client-centred approach.

Diana has in-depth understanding and skills relating to Mental Capacity and Best Interests Decisions, Safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberties and a comprehensive understanding of the importance of working within legal frameworks and legislation.

Diana is passionate about delivering a high standard of care to each of her clients, ensuring they feel valued, listened to, informed and are actively involved in making choices and decisions. She is keen to empower people to change their routines and increase their quality of life. She uses a range of communication strategies when working with individuals with cognitive impairments and/or communication difficulties to ensure effective communication with every client.
