About Caireen

Caireen is a dedicated and innovative HCPC registered Occupational Therapist (OT) who has worked with children, young people, adults with complex needs and their families since qualifying in South Africa in 1999.

She has extensive experience working with clients in their own homes with a wide range of physical and neuro-disabilities, providing comprehensive assessments and recommendations in relation to their housing and equipment needs. Caireen aims to maximise each client’s safety, comfort, function, independent, participation and quality of life.

Using a proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach, Caireen enables her clients to make informed choices and decisions around the most suitable equipment and adaptations to achieve their goals.

Caireen has excellent knowledge and skills in assessing for and delivering interventions to meet the needs of clients with physical disabilities. These include postural care, specialist equipment, moving and handling and home adaptations.

Caireen has excellent communication, problem solving and report writing skills. She works collaboratively with her clients, family members, case managers, solicitors, architects, building contractors and the wider MDT in order to achieve optimum outcomes for each client.
