About Becky

Becky is a genuine, approachable and highly experienced Occupational Therapist who has spent 12 years developing her clinical skills across a wide range of complex cases with varying pathologies and prognoses.

Having progressed from a Band 5 therapist to her current position as a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist, Becky has developed specialist interests in equipment provision, becoming a local link person and equipment authoriser, as well as taking on responsibility for environmental control assessments. She is also proficient in moving and handling assessments and major adaptations.

Becky works autonomously and collaboratively, liaising with partner agencies to access alternative funding streams for clients who may not be financially eligible for equipment or adaptations through statutory services - ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent people from getting the support they need.

In 2021 Becky began her independent practice journey as an associate, taking on waiting list clearance projects and private assessments alongside her NHS work - a combination that reflects her commitment to delivering accessible, high quality occupational therapy across a variety of settings.
