About Tracey
Tracey is an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, qualifying in 2015. She spent the first 2 years working within inpatient and community settings with patients from medical, surgical, orthopaedic and care of the elderly wards as well as in hand therapy, palliative care and A&E departments. Since 2017, Tracey has worked in the community with both paediatric and adult clients who have wide ranging physical, sensory, cognitive, learning and behavioural needs which impact on their ability to carry out daily activities.
Through in depth assessments and tailored interventions, Tracey supports her clients with their access, independence, mobility, safety, comfort and care needs.
Tracey is skilled at identifying, recommending and overseeing housing adaptions to enable her clients to live safely and comfortably in their home environments. She provides moving and handling risk assessments, interventions and carer training. She also assesses for and prescribes specialist equipment to enable her clients to participate in daily activities independently or with recommended assistance from carers.
Tracey is a passionate therapist and works collaboratively with her clients, their families and the wider multi-disciplinary team, with the aim of achieving optimum outcomes.
