Sarah Qualified as an Occupational Therapist in New Zealand in 2000. Since then she has worked in health settings in New Zealand and across both health and social care in the UK. Sarah has been working within the private sector since 2010. Working in the community for social care has enabled Sarah to become competent and confident practitioner. She has excellent knowledge of equipment, including complex moving and handling equipment and specialist seating needs. She also is very experienced in recommending adaptations to enable independent living and full access within a home.

Sarah has worked with clients with many different conditions and this has given her exceptional experience to identify a person’s needs and make appropriate recommendations. Sarah also works with family and carers and identifies what their needs may be to continue providing care to a person.
She is a Key Trainer in moving and handling and is proactive at continuing with her professional development.
