Lucy has exceptionally diverse clinical knowledge, experience and skills which she has gained through roles both in the community and inpatient settings as well as in within the private and NHS sectors.

Lucy has excellent clinical reasoning skills whilst undertaking assessments and providing recommendations to increase clients' independence to their maximum potential within the home environment. She focuses on quality of life and clients' safety within their home and when accessing the outdoors. Lucy is competent in carrying out thorough assessments to identify and recommend rehabilitation goals; and minor and major housing adaptations, equipment, seating and moving and handling needs, so that informed decisions and recommendations can be made to enable independence.

Lucy is a conscientious, trustworthy and reliable individual with exceptional time management and organisational skills. She is a committed, motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic clinician and takes pride in providing the most effective and appropriate service. Having worked previously in in-patient and community neurological rehabilitation teams, Lucy now carries out independent assessments with clients at home. She delivers bespoke treatment programmes; including physical and cognitive neurological rehabilitation; and carries out her recommendations related to the provision of specialist equipment and housing adaptations.

Lucy works collaboratively with the families and wider MDT to develop a plan that helps her clients become as independent as possible within their home and their community. Lucy has experience carrying out Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG's) applications and recommendations, using her experience to prepare scaled plans to assess and design the integration of equipment in any client's living space/environment. Lucy has experience of complex moving and handling assessments and interventions and uses these skills to ensure safe and appropriate techniques are used with each client and family and carers are supported to do the same.

Lucy is passionate about supporting and facilitating access to the outdoors for all of her clients along with their friends and families.
