Leia is an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with in depth skills, knowledge and experience within the clinical specialisms of Paediatrics; Housing Adaptations and Specialist Equipment assessment and prescription. She works in both the private and statutory sectors in the community, seeing her clients within their own homes and education settings.

Leia is an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with in depth skills, knowledge and experience within the clinical specialisms of Paediatrics; Housing Adaptations and Specialist Equipment assessment and prescription. She works in both the private and statutory sectors in the community, seeing her clients within their own homes and education settings.
Having a premature child herself, Leia felt a calling to the therapeutic potential surrounding children with additional needs. She strives to support the children and families in her care by delivering a high standard of care; working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team around each child; and using a child-centered and outcome driven approach. Leia has an in-depth understanding of child development which she uses to support the developmental trajectories of babies and children with developmental delays.
She has postgraduate training in Sensory Integration and is currently completing a Master’s degree to become an Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner, which will be complete in 2024. She provides specialist sensory assessments and bespoke interventions for children and young people with sensory processing challenges.
Leia also has expert skills and experience in assessing and delivering therapeutic interventions for children with neurological and physical impairments, including cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury.

Leia is located in the South East of England, conducting home visits across Kent and London (excluding Medway and Swale).
Just one of our nationwide network of occupational therapists. All our OTs have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience and are secialists in their chosen field.
