Chia has been working with clients with neurological dysfunction such as Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Guillain Barre Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy etc, since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2009. As well as working in private practice, Chia also works as highly specialist occupational therapist at Regional, Hyper-Acute Neuro- Rehabilitation Unit at Northwick Park Hospital. She provides holistic Occupational Therapy assessments and evidence-based treatment/interventions.
About Chia

Chia has worked in a variety of clinical settings including acute, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation and in the community with private clients.
Chia has also had experience working with children with sensory processing difficulties and physical disabilities; such as Cerebral palsy, ADHD and Autism. This is an area of interest and one she is hoping to develop through additional training and further clinical experience.
Chia is passionate about occupational therapy and believes OTs can make a big difference in people’s lives. Chia is efficient, particularly good in time management, approachable, flexible, innovative, passionate and always keen on taking more responsibilities.
