Law & Practice Training Day for independent OTs

July 26th, 2017

On the 11th July 2017 Inclusion.Me in partnership with the Royal College Of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section Independent Practice ran our latest Law & Practice for independent OTs workshop in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The day was free to attend for Inclusion.Me associates & Royal College Of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section Independent Practice members and highlighted important legal issues as they affect the work of independent Occupational Therapists. It was a fully participative and inter-active day, with the aim being to illustrate key legislation and guidance for delegates in a practical, down-to-earth manner. The day included a series of sessions involving discussion, questions and answers alongside numerous case studies highlighting different points of law.

Some feedback from the day included:

  • Thank you for organising excellent trainer for FREE!
  • Thank you for hosting this day and for free too!
  • Very informative and stimulating day
  • Great training
  • Todays training has made me think and reflect on my own practice and how I can my OT skills and practice
  • Good day and good networking!
  • A great day all round – and for free! I’m coming away feeling much more knowledgeable and confident in regards to the Care Act as an independent OT.
