What types of services do Inclusion Occupational Therapists Provide?
Our Occupational Therapists bring a wealth of experience and skills. They work with individuals, local authorities and housing association. Just some of the services they offer include:
- Paediatric home and school seating, adaptations and equipment assessments
- Manual handling training
- Disabled bay parking badge assessments
- Compensation claims and functional capacity assessments in cases of litigation
- Assisting an ageing couple to care for one another in their own home
- OT type home assessments for social services
- Void property reviews for housing services or housing associations
- Advising on how the home or workplace can be changed to maximise an individual’s independence and function
- Adapting materials or equipment (e.g. adjusting cutlery for someone after they have lost hand dexterity)
- Ergonomic seating assessments
Our vast experience in the field means we can offer bespoke services to meet most types of disability consultation of OT requirements. And when we are not best placed to help you, we can put you in touch with the most appropriate organisation to meet your requirements.
We are also able to consult with disability access / committee groups or charities on your behalf.
