Website updates / .Net article
.Net magazine (Web designers monthly magazine) have just completed a review of our website, testing it for accessibility for possible service users……
The magazine have published the findings of this assessment in the latest copy of the .Net magazine which is on sale now. The review by Nomensa’s director of user experience, Alastair Campbell identifies some key areas around which we needed to make improvements. In reply to the article we have made the following changes to the site:
- I’m reliably informed that all of the technical details highlighted by Alistair have now been changed to make all sections more easily seen by screen readers.
- We have also added an alternative text colour option to the site to make the text more easily readable for someone with a mild to moderate visual impairment.
These changes hopefully make the site even more accessible for our users but we welcome any feedback that may help us to improve the sites usability for all. If you have any comments or suggestions then please do reply to this post or contact us via our contact page.
