DDA Guide To Accessibility
Due to constant demand for user friendly advice on the Disability Discrimination Act, Inclusion are proud to be able to offer a summary guide on the DDA for companies, individuals and service providers
Designed to give companies an insight into the access auditing process, this plain English guide demonstrates that there is far more to consider than just lifts and ramps. With wheelchair users making up only three per cent of disabled people in the UK, it is just as important to improve access for the millions of people with visual impairments, difficulty hearing or reduced mobility.
This 48-page guide helps readers to understand the Act as well as offering advice on auditing, modify premises and provide disability equality training to members of staff. It is illustrated with colourful pictures and diagrams and gives practical examples of good practice.
